This week, the developers of InZOI are taking a well-deserved break to celebrate the New Year, enjoying a three-day holiday in South Korea. Before stepping away, Hyungjun "Kjun" Kim, the project lead, shared valuable insights into the much-anticipated features that fans have been requesting for the game. These updates give us a clearer picture of what to expect and to what extent these features will be implemented.

In InZOI, players will have the innovative ability to use real facial capture technology to create templates for crafting zois. This feature, previously highlighted in summer announcements for its convenience, is set to be further streamlined to make the process of creating zois even more user-friendly. Kjun's commitment to enhancing this feature underscores the team's dedication to player satisfaction.
Another exciting addition to InZOI is the introduction of pets within the game. While this feature won't be available during the early access phase, fans can look forward to it in future updates. Interestingly, Kjun himself is a passionate animal lover, which adds a personal touch to this eagerly awaited feature.
The game will also feature tall buildings, with a maximum height of 30 floors. Although the game engine could support higher constructions, this cap is set to ensure optimal performance and avoid potential issues that could impact gameplay.
In response to player feedback, InZOI will introduce gas stations and more comprehensive combat scenarios. The initial slap mechanic was deemed too simplistic by the community. Taking this feedback to heart, Kjun has ensured that the game will now feature full-fledged fights, complete with clear outcomes of winners and losers, adding depth and excitement to the gameplay.
Recognizing that InZOI may attract many newcomers to the genre, the developers have planned to include a comprehensive tutorial. This thoughtful addition aims to help new players get up to speed and fully enjoy the game, showcasing the team's commitment to accessibility and user experience.
As of now, Krafton remains on track to release InZOI in early access at the end of March, with no further delays expected. This timeline provides fans with a concrete goal to look forward to as they anticipate diving into the rich world of InZOI.
