EA's The Simpsons: Tapped Out is shutting down after a twelve-year run. This beloved city-building mobile game, initially released in 2012 (iOS) and 2013 (Android), will be unavailable for download starting October 31st, 2024. Servers will officially shut down on January 24th, 2025. In-app purchases are already disabled.
EA expressed gratitude to its players for their decade-long support of the game, which allowed fans to create their own versions of Springfield.

The Simpsons: Tapped Out is a freemium game with regular updates reflecting show storylines and real-world holidays. While the game is free to download, "donuts" are the in-game currency that fuels the fun.
