Introducing our comprehensive audio-visual resource designed for effective evangelism and foundational Bible teaching, tailored for children aged 7 to 12. This tool, based on the Sunday School Lessons crafted by the AIC Sunday School Committee in Juba, Southern Sudan, and adapted with the permission of the Africa Inland Church, Sudan, brings a rich, interactive learning experience to your fingertips. Developed by Global Recordings Network Australia, these lessons are perfectly complemented by the audio-visual picture books available from Global Recordings Network, enhancing the teaching process with vivid visuals.
Our app features an impressive collection of 226 Bible lessons spread across 9 books, drawing inspiration from the renowned Good News and Look, Listen, and Live audio-visual programs. These programs are also accessible through the 5fish app, ensuring a seamless integration of your teaching resources. With features like title search, detailed teacher instructions for each lesson, the ability to play English audio recordings, and display relevant pictures, this app is your go-to tool for engaging and effective Sunday School sessions.
Designed for offline use (with the exception of audio), this app focuses solely on the lesson segment of your Sunday School program, each lesson planned to last approximately twenty minutes. The rest of your Sunday School time, filled with singing, prayer, Bible reading, quizzes, and other activities, remains flexible for you to plan according to your group's needs. We highly recommend concluding each lesson with a short prayer and song that reflect the week's teaching, reinforcing the lesson's message in a memorable way.
When first piloted, these lessons were meticulously written out by teachers each week, intentionally kept concise to aid in weekly preparation. While some lessons have since been expanded, the essence remains a brief yet comprehensive outline for teachers to personalize and enrich during their preparation. Each lesson is guided by a specific aim, printed at the top of the story, focusing on one or two key truths about God to gradually build the children's understanding.
Importantly, the lesson text is not intended to be read verbatim to the class. Instead, it serves as a guiding "walking stick" for the teacher, not a set of "crutches," encouraging active engagement and adaptation to suit the class's needs.
