Genshin Impact's Version 5.4: Unveiling Yumemizuki Mizuki
Version 5.4 of Genshin Impact introduces Yumemizuki Mizuki, a new 5-Star Anemo Catalyst character from Inazuma. This update follows the conclusion of the Natlan storyline in Version 5.3, offering a smaller, Inazuma-focused adventure. The flagship event, centered around yokai and featuring Yae Miko prominently, will likely be the setting for Mizuki's introduction.
Mizuki, rumored since late 2024, is confirmed as a Standard Banner addition after Version 5.4. Her gameplay is comparable to Sucrose, but with added healing capabilities, making her a valuable asset to many team compositions, particularly Taser teams. While not directly surpassing Sucrose in every scenario, her versatility ensures a place in diverse team setups.
Recent marketing revealed Mizuki's dual identity: a tapir yokai and a psychologist who owns the Aisa Bathhouse. Her close friendship with Yae Miko strongly suggests her integration into the Version 5.4 flagship event. A dedicated Story Quest for Mizuki is also planned for this update.
Yumemizuki Mizuki Details:
- Title: Embrace of Enchanting Dreams
- Rarity: 5-Star
- Vision: Anemo
- Weapon: Catalyst
- Constellation: Tapirus Somniator
Version 5.4's Event Banners will feature Mizuki and Wriothesley in the first half, followed by Furina and Sigewinne in the second. Players focused on character collection should prioritize obtaining Mizuki's signature weapon, as she transitions to the Standard Banner post-5.4.
Compared to the content-rich Version 5.3, Version 5.4 is notably smaller in scale. It includes only one new character, a single Story Quest, and no new map or Artifact Domain. Consequently, the Primogem reward will be lower than usual. Players should strategically save their resources, particularly Lantern Rite rewards, to maximize their chances of obtaining desired characters like Furina or Wriothesley in Version 5.4, unless Version 5.3's Chronicled Banner offers a compelling alternative.
