Rinascita offers numerous intriguing puzzles, including the multifaceted Morph Paintings. These paintings are integral to two puzzle types: Overflowing Palettes and straightforward restoration tasks.
Morph Painting restoration puzzles are relatively simple yet rewarding, providing valuable resources like Astrites. This guide details their mechanics, locations, and solutions.
Restoring Morph Paintings in Wuthering Waves
Restoring Morph Paintings involves placing the correct paintings onto designated pedestals. Examine the pedestal descriptions, locate the matching portrait, and use the Levitator utility to position it correctly. The game usually automatically equips the Levitator, but you can manually select it using Tab or the D-Pad Left.
Currently, two such puzzles exist, integrated into the "Shadow of the Towers: Resounding Rise" and "Trials of Old" quests.
Shadow of the Towers: Resounding Rise Morph Painting Puzzle
This puzzle, within the "Shadows of the Past" questline in Resounding Rise (one of the three Thorncrown - Thessaleo Falls towers), requires the following steps (using the central painting as a reference):
- Swap the front-left and back-right paintings.
- Move the painting behind the left pedestals to the back-left pedestal.
- Move the painting behind the right chairs to the front-right pedestal.
Solving the puzzle reveals a chest, allowing quest progression.
Trials of Old Morph Painting Puzzle
Located within the "Trial of Wisdom" during the "Trials of Old" quest near Porto-Veno Castle (eastern Thessaleo Fells), this puzzle demands arranging paintings on pedestals to create a narrative sequence from left to right. The solution is depicted in the image above.
A simple way to verify correct placement is to check if the painting frame illuminates upon insertion. This shortcut eliminates the need for complex puzzle solving.
