War Thunder's "Firebirds" Update: Stealth, Power, and New Vehicles!
Gaijin Entertainment has just announced the upcoming "Firebirds" update for War Thunder, arriving in early November. This major update boasts a significant expansion of aircraft, ground vehicles, and warships.
New Aircraft Take Flight
Prepare for the arrival of iconic aircraft, including the stealthy American F-117A Nighthawk, the powerful Russian Su-34 fighter-bomber, and the versatile F-15E Strike Eagle.
The F-117A Nighthawk marks a first for War Thunder: a stealth aircraft. Its unique design, incorporating hard edges, radar-absorbing materials, and shielded engines, makes it exceptionally difficult to detect. Its real-world record of over 1,200 combat sorties without loss during Operation Desert Storm speaks volumes.
The F-15E Strike Eagle, an enhanced F-15 variant, delivers unmatched firepower. Boasting a 50% larger payload than its predecessor, and equipped with ground target detection radar, it carries a devastating arsenal: AGM-65 Maverick missiles, laser-guided bombs, JDAMs, and even 20 GBU-39 satellite-guided bombs at once.
More Than Just Planes!
The "Firebirds" update isn't limited to aircraft. Ground forces are bolstered by additions like the British FV107 Scimitar light tank and the French Dunkerque battleship.
The current "Aces High" season continues, offering unique vehicles, trophies, and rewards through Battle Pass completion. Expect to find aircraft such as the Bf 109 G-14, F2G-1, and La-11, along with powerful platoons (T54E2 and G6) and ships (HMS Orion and USS Billfish).
