Pokémon GO Unveils New Unova Tour Pass
Get ready for the Pokémon GO Tour: Unova! A new Tour Pass, available from February 24th to March 9th, offers exciting rewards and progression milestones. This event builds on the popular Pokémon GO Tour series, this year spotlighting the Unova region (Generation 5) with themed wild Pokémon encounters, raids, and egg hatches.
The Pokémon GO Tour is an annual event celebrating a specific region, coinciding with Pokémon Day. Past Tours have featured Kanto (2021) and Sinnoh (2024), introducing shiny Pokémon and unique variants.
This year's Unova Tour Pass, available from February 24th, 10 am to March 2nd, 6 pm (local time), offers a free and a deluxe version. Earn Tour Points by completing daily tasks, catching Pokémon, participating in raids, and hatching eggs to level up your pass and unlock rewards like Candy and Stickers. Reaching the final milestone grants a special Zorua encounter. All rewards expire on March 9th at 6 pm.
Pokémon GO Tour: Unova Pass Details
The free Tour Pass provides a base set of rewards. However, a deluxe version ($14.99 or $19.99 with 10 pre-unlocked ranks) is available on the Pokémon GO Webstore during the same period. The deluxe pass unlocks all free and paid rewards, plus a Mythical Victini encounter and a Lucky Trinket. This trinket instantly makes a friend a Lucky Friend, guaranteeing a Lucky Pokémon on the next trade, then resetting the Lucky Friend status. Deluxe pass rewards, including the Lucky Trinket, also expire on March 9th at 6 pm.
This Unova Tour Pass enhances the excitement surrounding the event, which will feature the debut of Kyurem (Black and White forms) via fusion, echoing last year's Necrozma fusion. Shiny Meloetta will also debut via ticketed Masterwork Research.
