Pokémon GO Tour: Unova and City Safari Events Detailed
Get ready for Pokémon GO Tour: Unova, hitting Los Angeles and New Taipei City in February 2025! This in-person event promises an immersive Unova region experience. Read on for details on this and the upcoming Pokémon GO City Safari.
Pokémon GO Tour: Unova (February 21-23, 2025)
This event, inspired by Pokémon Black, White, Black 2, and White 2, will take place at the Rose Bowl Stadium (Los Angeles) and New Taipei’s Metropolitan Park.
The event features themed habitats (Winter Caverns, Spring Soiree, Summer Vacations, Autumn Masquerade) with Unova Pokémon. Shiny Deerling variations will appear based on habitat and time. Shiny Meloetta is obtainable via Masterwork Research; Shiny Sigilyph, Bouffalant, and others are available through hatching, and shiny Pikachu with unique hats can be found through Field Research.
Legendary Pokémon Reshiram and Zekrom will be Five-Star Raid bosses. Druddigon (Three-Star Raids) and Snivy, Tepig, and Oshawott (One-Star Raids) will also appear, all with boosted shiny rates.
Tickets are on sale now at a discounted price: $25 USD (Los Angeles) and $630 NT (New Taipei). Add-ons provide extra bonuses, such as 5,000 XP after completing a raid. The event runs 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. local time (PST and GMT+8), with merchandise booths and team lounges available.
A global event, Pokémon GO Tour: Unova - Global, will be held March 1-2, offering free Unova exploration for all trainers.
Pokémon GO City Safari (December 7-8, 2024)
This citywide event in Hong Kong and São Paulo (10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. local time) features Professor Willow and Eevee.
Participants receive an explorer hat-wearing Eevee. Evolving this Eevee (25 candy) retains the hat. The Eevee Explorers Expedition earns a second hat-wearing Eevee.
Special Pokémon like Galarian Slowpoke, Unown P, and Clamperl will appear in the wild, with others (Oricorio, Swablu, Skiddo) hatching from eggs. Location-specific Pokémon will also be available. Maps will be provided, and Pikachu/Eevee visors (first-come, first-served) will be available.
Tickets cost R$45 (São Paulo) and $10 USD (Hong Kong). Add-ons offer extra items and increased shiny encounter rates.
