World of Warcraft: The War Within - Patch 11.1 Prologue and Dalaran Epilogue Guide
The saga of World of Warcraft: The War Within continues! Beyond the Siren Isle update and the anticipated Season 2 launch in 2025 (bringing new endgame content and story chapters), Patch 11.0.7 introduces crucial quests leading into Patch 11.1 and the Goblin capital, Undermine. A separate questline concludes the heartbreaking story of Dalaran's destruction, though its availability was initially delayed.
Updated January 7, 2025: The recent campaign quests mark a significant turning point. Dalaran, a long-standing Warcraft staple, may never fully recover from the events of The War Within. The Dalaran Epilogue provides a fitting conclusion to its story and a farewell to this once-important social hub in Wrath of the Lich King and Legion.

Starting the Patch 11.1 Prologue: Lingering Shadows
Unlike the Dalaran Epilogue, the "Lingering Shadows" campaign begins immediately. Prior completion of the leveling or Level 80 campaign isn't required, but recommended for context. The questline includes:

- Price of a Mission
- Standing in the Way
- No Breathing Room
- Together, Alone
- The Voice
- Ringing in the Deeps
- Good Help These Days
- Hey, What's Going On?
- Haywired and Hostile
- Built to Blast
- Bat Versus World
- Found Friends
After "Found Friends," speak to Orweyna for extra information relevant to future War Within updates or other World Soul Saga expansions.
Starting the Dalaran Epilogue in World of Warcraft: The War Within
Initially gated for three weeks, the Dalaran Epilogue is now accessible (as of January 7th). However, you must complete both the leveling campaign and the Level 80 campaign (requiring Renown Four with all four Khaz Algar factions).
Check Foundation Hall (where Patch 11.1 prologue quests begin). If Khadgar is present after January 7th, you can receive his quest. Otherwise, you need to finish more campaign quests.

Completing this unlocks the "Fate of the Kirin Tor" achievement and the "Witness of the Kirin Tor" title.
