Ubisoft's new Animus Hub, a central control center for the Assassin's Creed franchise, promises streamlined access to the series' vast library. Launching alongside Assassin's Creed Shadows, the Hub acts as a central launchpad for games like Origins, Odyssey, Valhalla, Mirage, and the upcoming Hexe.
This approach mirrors the strategies employed by Battlefield and Call of Duty. Animus Hub isn't just a launcher, though. It also features unique "Anomalies" – special missions within Assassin's Creed Shadows. Completing these Anomalies rewards players with cosmetic items or in-game currency for acquiring new outfits and weapons.
Beyond gameplay, Animus Hub offers rich supplementary content. Players can delve into journals, notes, and other materials detailing Assassin's Creed's modern-day storyline, enriching their understanding of the overarching narrative and connections between games.
Assassin's Creed Shadows itself transports players to feudal Japan, immersing them in the political machinations and conflicts of the samurai era. The game is slated for release on March 20, 2025, for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S.
