TouchArcade's Weekly Update Roundup: Noteworthy Game Updates
Hello everyone, and welcome to another week's review of significant game updates! This week features a healthy dose of matching puzzle games (Shaun's not happy!), but also some exciting titles outside that genre. Peglin (Free): This week's coveted UMMSotW award goes to Peglin! Version 1.0 introduces Cruciball challenges up to level 20, a new Slime Hive mini-boss, and numerous bug fixes, balance tweaks, and overall improvements.
Brawl Stars (Free): Get ready for Brawl Stars time! SpongeBob SquarePants is joining the fray in a new event. Plus, expect the arrival of two new Brawlers – Moe (Mythic) and Kenji (Legendary) – and several new Hypercharges. This content will roll out over the next few months.
stitch (Premium): More Hoops await in the latest stitch update! This update features a new martial arts-themed set of puzzles. More puzzles are always welcome in a great puzzle game.
Genshin Impact (Free): Genshin Impact: Natlan Launch is here! Explore the new Natlan region and meet three new characters: Mualani, Kinich, and Kachina. New weapons, events, stories, and artifacts are also included.
Temple Run: Puzzle Adventure (Apple Arcade): One hundred new levels and refreshed tournaments are now available in this matching puzzle game spin-off.
Jetpack Joyride 2 (Apple Arcade): Barry Steakfries blasts off into space in this update! Let's just say... space.
Puyo Puyo Puzzle Pop: New character episodes for Sig, Carbuncle, and Rafisol are added to Adventure Mode, along with playable character Meena (without her own episode) and seven new music tracks.
Hearthstone (Free): Battlegrounds Season 8, "Trinkets & Travels," arrives with new content and the Trinket Shop, replacing Buddies.
Toon Blast (Free): Fifty new levels and a new episode focused on bees and happiness.
Royal Match (Free): One hundred new levels and a new jousting arena. King Robert's fate remains...uncertain.
