The Pokémon Go "Small Yet Strong" event is bringing extra-small and extra-large Pokémon to the game! Running from February 5th to 8th, this event offers boosted XP for catching Pokémon, increased odds of encountering XXS and XXL Pokémon in the wild, and the debut of Shiny Nymble. It's a great opportunity to prepare for the upcoming Pokémon Go Tour – Unova.
Increased wild encounters include Paras, Natu, Joltik, and various Burmy forms. Five-Star Raids feature Dialga and Enamorus (Incarnate Forme), while Mega Raids star Mega Medicham and Mega Tyranitar. Shiny Pokémon may appear in both raids and wild encounters.
For egg enthusiasts, 2km Eggs will hatch Togepi, Azurill, Budew, and Dedenne. Field Research tasks reward encounters with Burmy and Nymble. Timed Research and a Collection Challenge provide Stardust, Poké Balls, and more event Pokémon encounters. Event-themed Pokémon will also appear in PokéStop Showcases.
Regional variations of Flabébé will also appear: Red Flower (Europe, Middle East, Africa), Blue Flower (Asia-Pacific), and Yellow Flower (Americas). White and Orange Flower Flabébé have a chance to appear globally.
