Nightdive Studios has officially rebranded their latest project as System Shock 2: 25th Anniversary Remaster, bringing a fresh take on a beloved cult classic. This eagerly anticipated remaster is set to launch on multiple platforms including PC (available on Steam and GOG), PlayStation 4 and 5, Xbox One and Series X/S, as well as the Nintendo Switch.
The much-anticipated release date for this remastered gem will be revealed on March 20, 2025, during the Future Games Show: Spring Showcase. This event marks a significant moment, as it paves the way for a new generation of gamers to dive into the iconic sci-fi RPG.

However, development delays shifted their timeline.
The 2023 remake of System Shock was well-received, achieving a Metacritic score of 78/100, a user rating of 7.6/10, and an impressive 91% positive rating on Steam. With the remaster of System Shock 2 now on the horizon, fans won't have to wait much longer to revisit this legendary title.
