Sword Art Online Variant Showdown Returns After Extended Maintenance!
Remember SAOVS, Bandai Namco's action RPG launched in November 2022? After an unexpectedly long maintenance period that began in September 2023, SAOVS (Sword Art Online Variant Showdown) is finally back! While initially slated to return this summer, the developers required additional time to address core functionality issues.
What's New in the Re-released SAOVS?
The game relaunches with Battle Royal Season 1, a four-player knockout competition running until December 30th. Compete in League Matches to earn titles and accessories.
Returning players who persevered through the maintenance will receive a welcome gift: 5 Sword Spark Mito Pickup Scout Tickets.
A "Restart Celebration: Six Great Campaigns" event offers up to 100 free Scouts, login bonuses, and mission rewards, lasting until January 30th, 2025.
Limited-time opportunities await! You can acquire the SSR Sword Spark Mito (Light-elemental fighter), and the new SSR Ability Cards "Destroyer of Destiny" and "Seasoned Comrades," available until January 6th, 2025.
