Developer Dizzie revealed the prison sentence in a January 14th Steam update. While the specific crime remains undisclosed, Dizzie acknowledged past violent behavior. This situation, though unusual, highlights the unpredictable nature of game development.
Fortune's Run's development team originally consisted of two members, but the other departed after recovering from surgery, citing disinterest in game development.
