Radiangames has unveiled Speed Demons 2, a side-scrolling highway racer reminiscent of the classic Burnout series, both visually and in its high-octane gameplay. Following the original mobile game, this sequel is currently in development for PC and slated for release later this year.
The developers highlight a unique control scheme: "Controls focus on movement, not steering. You'll use gas, brake, and turbo buttons, but directional control is handled by moving the analog stick (or mouse) up and down." They assure players, "It sounds unusual, but it's instantly intuitive in gameplay."

Speed Demons 2 boasts ten game modes, including the destructively fun Pursuit, Takedown, and Rampage—all echoing the spirit of Burnout's Road Rage mode by demanding the elimination of other vehicles within a time limit. The "Scratchless" mode offers a different challenge, similar to Burnout's Burning Lap, requiring players to reach the finish line with minimal vehicle damage.
