Currently in its playtest phase, Town Stories blends classic Sims building with character-driven narratives. Players construct neighborhoods, guide residents on personal journeys, manage careers, and uncover secrets within the town of Plumbrook. Early gameplay footage suggests a familiar feel, hinting at experimental concepts that may evolve further.
The game's Google Play listing is visible, though download access is currently limited to Australia and requires signing up via EA's website. Initial player reactions have been mixed, with some expressing concerns about the graphics and potential for microtransactions.
