Ubisoft unveiled the newest Rainbow Six Siege operator, Rauora, at the Six Invitational. This New Zealand attack operator boasts a unique gadget: the DOM launcher.
The DOM launcher is a bulletproof shield (destructible by explosives) designed for doorway deployment. Its trigger mechanism offers a strategic advantage: attackers open it in one second, while defenders take three. This time difference could prove critical, especially during defuser situations.

Rauora also brings the Reaper MK2, a new fully automatic pistol with a red dot sight and high-capacity magazine, to the game. Players can also equip her with either the M249 LMG or the 417 marksman rifle.
Rauora will be playable on the test servers within the coming week, with a later release date for the main game.
