Get ready for some adrenaline-pumping mech battles because War Robots is rolling out the Faction Race event, kicking off on September 17th. With a fresh season and an update introducing new factions, here's everything you need to know about diving into the action.
What’s The War Robots Faction Race About?
The core of the Faction Race revolves around the epic clash of factions. You'll have the chance to align yourself with one of five factions: SpaceTech, DSC, Icarus, EvoLife, or Yan-di. After choosing your allegiance, you'll collaborate with fellow players to conquer in-game challenges, accumulate points, and secure fantastic rewards.
The higher your faction's score, the richer the rewards you'll enjoy. So, it's not just about personal victories; your contribution to your faction's overall success is crucial. Keep an eye on the leaderboard to track your progress throughout the event.
To join the Faction Race, you must reach at least level 23 in War Robots. The competition is fierce, with keys, premium resources, and Data Pads as potential prizes. Data Pads are particularly coveted, as they can unlock new pilots, robots, and upgrades, significantly enhancing your gameplay.
So, Which Faction Will You Be Choosing?
Alongside the faction battles, the new season introduces thrilling new content, including the Condor robot. This beast can accelerate in mid-air and unleash devastation with its sound cannon. If you're into sound-based destruction, the new Screamer and Howler sound blasters, along with the Wave drone, will be available for you to wreak havoc on the battlefield.
For those new to War Robots, it's a dynamic shooter where you command massive mechs in strategic battles, available in both solo and multiplayer modes. With a selection of over 50 robots, the game allows you to mix and match weapons and modules to craft your ultimate war machine.
