Baldur's Gate 3 offers a rich tapestry of romance options, but some hidden gems can be easily overlooked. One such intriguing encounter is with Naoise Nallinto at Sharess' Caress. This brief but unique romance can be missed amidst the game's bustling narrative. In this guide, we'll explore how to find and romance Naoise Nallinto in Baldur's Gate 3.
Where to Find Naoise Nallinto in Baldur's Gate 3
Visit Sharress' Caress in Act III:
To encounter Naoise, you need to reach the early stages of Act III. As you approach Baldur's Gate, you'll pass through Wyrm's Crossing. Your initial visit to this area includes a meeting with Raphael at Sharess' Caress, a brothel located on the eastern side of the bridge leading into the city.
If you've already visited Wyrm's Crossing, utilize the South Span of Wyrm's Crossing fast-travel point to teleport directly to the front porch of Sharess' Caress.
Look for Nymph's Grotto:
Naoise resides in the Nymph's Grotto, a secluded chamber on the second floor, accessible through a door with a green light and ivy-covered walls. This door is locked but can be easily opened with a lock-picking skill check of 10 or higher.
How to Romance Naoise Nallinto in Baldur's Gate 3
Interact with Naoise:
Upon entering, you'll find Naoise engaged with Jara, a Flaming Fist soldier, in an intimate moment. Jara's irritation at your interruption is palpable, but a tadpole interaction between her and your character leads to a confrontation about the Absolute. Jara then transforms into a Mindflayer, which you must defeat.
After defeating Jara, Naoise's attention shifts to you. She expresses an unusual attraction to Mindflayers. Here are the dialogue choices that lead to the romance:
- "Whoever you think I am, you're mistaken."
- "Your client is dead. I thought you'd be more upset."
- "That creature aroused you, didn't it?"
- "What did you have in mind?"
- 'Close your eyes and listen'
This encounter unfolds entirely in your mind. Naoise prompts you to choose what you will be, offering options like Revered, Contented, Powerful, Rich, or to end the encounter. Selecting 'Contented' initiates a brief romance scene. Afterward, Naoise's interest in you wanes, and she will only offer 'rapture' once.
Notably, this encounter doesn't affect relationships with other romanceable characters, such as Karlach, who remains unbothered by it. Completing the encounter also earns you the 'Carnal Rituals of Sharess' inspiration point from Shadowheart.
Upon successfully romancing Naoise, you receive the Rapture boon, granting a passive 1d6 bonus to most ability checks.
