When Does It Start?
The Roland-Garros eSeries kicks off in March with open qualifiers. These qualifiers, acting as the initial battleground, will take place in three stages: March 6-11, March 20-25, and April 3-8. These stages will determine the elite contenders who will advance to the finals. The top female players from the first two qualifiers will also secure their spots alongside the overall winners. The ultimate showdown occurs on May 24th at the Roland-Garros Tenniseum Auditorium, where finalists will compete in front of a live audience. The entire event will be streamed live on Twitch.
What’s New This Year?
This year's Roland-Garros eSeries introduces a thrilling team-based format. Finalists will compete as part of teams, each led by a prominent figure in French tennis. Gilles Simon, former ATP world No. 6 and Davis Cup champion, has already been confirmed as a team captain. He's been involved with the eSeries as a commentator since 2023 and even competed in the 2024 Top 8. His rival captain remains a mystery, but organizers have hinted that it's a Grand Slam winner—intrigue abounds!
Are You Excited for the Roland-Garros eSeries 2025?
Once the teams are finalized, the competition intensifies. The winning team from the first phase will enter the double-elimination bracket from the winner's side, while the losing team begins in the loser's bracket. Alessandro ΔLEX Bianco, the reigning champion, returns to defend his title, joined by the two Grand Tour finalists. With 548,000 participants from 215 territories last year, expect an even more competitive field in 2025.
