Hearthstone's Year of the Raptor: A 2025 Roadmap of Exciting Updates
Get ready for a year of thrilling surprises in Hearthstone! 2025 promises a fresh wave of gameplay, new features, and the usual exciting releases: three expansions, Mini-Sets, and Battlegrounds seasons. The success of the Heroes of StarCraft Mini-Set has clearly energized Blizzard, leading to an ambitious roadmap for the year.
What's New in the Year of the Raptor?
A major highlight is the long-awaited Arena revamp. In development since last year, this update promises a revitalized Arena experience for both veteran and new players.
Cosmetics are also receiving a significant upgrade. Expect new Mythic skins and Signature cards, along with a brand-new addition: Pets! These adorable companions will be integrated into a new cosmetic acquisition system, details of which are yet to be revealed.
The Year of the Raptor officially begins with the "Into the Emerald Dream" expansion. Card reveals start next week, but the in-game celebration has already begun! Complete the Event Track to earn rewards, including The Great Dark Beyond Epic cards, packs from the new expansion, and a Raptor Herald card.

A dynamic new game board will launch alongside the expansion, remaining a staple throughout the Year of the Raptor. Expect visual and audio updates with each subsequent expansion.
