The new year in Pokémon GO brings a wave of new Pokémon, and Shroodle is the latest addition. Unlike many wild spawns, acquiring Shroodle requires a bit more effort.
Shroodle's Pokémon GO Debut:
The Poison-type Shroodle arrives in Pokémon GO on January 15, 2025, as part of the Fashion Week: Taken Over event. Following the event, it will remain available.
Shiny Shroodle:
Currently, a Shiny Shroodle is unavailable in Pokémon GO. Its Shiny variant will likely be introduced in a future event, possibly a Poison-type or Team GO Rocket focused event.
Catching Shroodle:
Shroodle isn't found in the wild. The only method to obtain it is by hatching 12KM Eggs. These eggs, collected from January 15th onwards, have a chance to contain Shroodle. Its hatch rate is expected to be higher during the Fashion Week: Taken Over event.
Obtaining 12KM Eggs:
12KM Eggs are a rare commodity, obtainable solely by defeating Team GO Rocket Leaders (Sierra, Arlo, Cliff) or Giovanni. The Fashion Week: Taken Over event presents an ideal opportunity to gather these eggs due to the increased Team GO Rocket presence and readily available Rocket Radars.
Acquiring Grafaiai:
Grafaiai, Shroodle's evolution, also debuts January 15th. It cannot be hatched or found in the wild; evolution from Shroodle is the only method. 50 Shroodle Candy is required for this evolution. Walking your Shroodle as your buddy is a recommended way to gather the necessary Candy.
Pokémon GO is available now.
