Improved Wi-Fi Connectivity:
Sony's recent update (3.0.1) significantly improves the PlayStation Portal's Wi-Fi capabilities. Previously limited to slower 2.4GHz bands, the update now allows connection to select 5GHz networks, resulting in much more stable remote play. This addresses user concerns regarding suboptimal performance on earlier firmware. A minimum of 5Mbps broadband internet is still recommended.
