Path of Exile 2's hidden Golden Idols: A guide to finding and selling these valuable items. Act 3 features several unlisted quests, including collecting five Golden Idols. Unlike typical quest items, these don't appear in your quest log.
Instead of progressing a questline, these idols are valuable trade goods. You'll find them in Utzaal (the Drowned City's past version) and the connected area, Aggorat. They aren't random drops; search side rooms and pedestals.
Locating the Golden Idols in Path of Exile 2
After completing the Ziggurat Encampment and traveling through the time portal to Utzaal, begin your search. Three idols are within Utzaal itself, and two more reside in Aggorat.

Selling Your Golden Idols
Once collected, return to Oswald in the northern part of the Ziggurat Encampment. He's your buyer. Each idol fetches a significant sum:
- Golden Idol: 500 Gold
- Grand Idol: 1000 Gold
- Glorious Idol: 1500 Gold
- Elegant Idol: 1000 Gold
- Exceptional Idol: 1500 Gold
Finding all five yields 6000 gold. Since they're solely valuable trade items, sell them promptly to free up inventory space. Regularly returning to Oswald after each find is recommended.
