Parallel Experiment: A Co-op Crime Thriller Puzzler Coming to Steam and Mobile
Eleven Puzzles' highly anticipated co-op crime thriller puzzler, Parallel Experiment, is set to launch on Steam this March. A mobile demo (iOS and Android) is also planned for later in the year, with a full mobile release to follow.
This unique co-op experience, reminiscent of titles like Keep Talking and Nobody Explodes, casts players as detectives Ally and Old Dog. Working independently from separate locations, players must communicate clues and collaborate to solve over 80 challenging puzzles.
The game features an in-game notebook for tracking clues, cooperative dialogue, a stylish noir comic book aesthetic, and even playful interactions like knocking on windows or poking your partner.
Unraveling the Mystery!
Cross-platform play is a key feature, enabling seamless collaboration between desktop and mobile players. While desktop players can easily communicate via platforms like Discord, the mobile version offers unique opportunities for in-person communication and playful distractions.
Although the co-op puzzle genre isn't new, Parallel Experiment benefits from extensive testing to optimize the mobile experience. The developers have clearly learned from past iterations to deliver a polished and engaging game.
