NetEase has announced the end-of-service (EOS) for their popular mobile horror game, Dead by Daylight Mobile. After a four-year run on Android, the game will officially shut down. This mobile adaptation of Behaviour Interactive's successful title, originally released on PC in June 2016, launched in April 2020. However, the PC and console versions will remain operational.
Dead by Daylight Mobile offered a thrilling 4v1 asymmetrical horror experience. Players could choose to be either a Killer, sacrificing Survivors to The Entity, or a Survivor, desperately trying to evade capture.
Dead by Daylight Mobile Shutdown Date:
The official EOS date is March 20th, 2025. The game will be removed from app stores on January 16th, 2025, preventing new downloads. Existing players can continue playing until the final shutdown date. NetEase will provide details regarding refunds, adhering to regional regulations, on January 16th, 2025.
For those wishing to continue their Dead by Daylight experience, the PC and console versions offer a welcoming package for new players. Furthermore, players who invested time or money in the mobile game will receive loyalty rewards upon transitioning to the PC or console platforms.
In short, Dead by Daylight Mobile's journey is ending, but the chilling gameplay lives on in other formats. Download it from the Google Play Store before January 16th, 2025, if you want one last scare!
