Marvel SNAP's initial Spotlight Cache card for 2025, Victoria Hand, is an Ongoing card that enhances cards generated within your hand. While often considered a core card for card-generation decks, Victoria Hand surprisingly excels in discard decks as well. This guide presents two effective deck builds for Victoria Hand, one for each archetype, to help you integrate her into the current SNAP meta.
Victoria Hand (2–3)

The Best Deck for Victoria Hand
Victoria Hand synergizes exceptionally well with Devil Dinosaur in a card-generation deck. To maximize this synergy, combine them with: Quinjet, Mirage, Frigga, Valentina, Cosmo, The Collector, Agent Coulson, Agent 13, Kate Bishop, and Moon Girl.
Consider Iron Patriot, Mystique, and Speed as flexible replacements for Agent 13, Kate Bishop, and Frigga.
Victoria Hand Deck Synergies Explained
- Victoria Hand boosts cards added to your hand by card generators.
- Agent Coulson, Agent 13, Mirage, Frigga, Valentina, Kate Bishop, and Moon Girl are your primary card generators. (Frigga and Moon Girl also duplicate key cards for added power or disruption.)
- Quinjet reduces the cost of generated cards.
- The Collector's power increases with each generated card.
- Cosmo serves as a tech card, protecting your Devil Dino and Victoria Hand lane.
- Devil Dino is your primary win condition, ideally played after Moon Girl or with multiple generated cards in hand.
Reports suggest Victoria Hand might buff cards generated in the opponent's hand or cards that change locations. Whether this is a bug or intended functionality remains unclear. If not a bug, the card text requires clarification. Regardless, it's a factor to consider when playing Victoria Hand decks.
Effective Victoria Hand Gameplay
When using a Victoria Hand deck, remember:
- Balance card generation and Energy: Aim for a full hand for optimal Devil Dino growth, but also manage Energy efficiently to generate cards and utilize Victoria's effect. Sometimes skipping a turn to maintain a full hand is crucial.
- Use joker cards strategically: Victoria Hand decks generate random cards. Use these strategically to mislead your opponent.
- Protect your Ongoing lane: Opponents often target Victoria Hand with tech cards like Enchantress. Play Devil Dino and Victoria in the same lane and protect them with Cosmo.
Alternative Discard Deck for Victoria Hand
Victoria Hand is also finding success in refined discard decks. Pair her with: Helicarrier, MODOK, Morbius, Scorn, Blade, Apocalypse, Swarm, Corvus Glaive, Colleen Wing, Lady Sif, and The Collector.
Countering Victoria Hand
Super Skrull is a strong counter to Victoria Hand. He's effective against both Victoria Hand and Doctor Doom 2099 decks.
Other counters include Shadow King (removes buffs from one lane) and Enchantress (removes all Ongoing effects). Valkyrie can also disrupt power distribution in key lanes.
Is Victoria Hand Worth Acquiring?
