Mandragora: Whispers of the Witch Tree, initially funded via Kickstarter in 2022, is nearing its release. This guide covers the release date and pre-order details.
Release Date:
Mandragora: Whispers of the Witch Tree launches on PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch on April 17, 2025. The original December 2023 release was postponed.
The game challenges players to combat "Entropy" and save a decaying world.
Pre-Order Rewards and Editions:
Pre-orders are available on Steam and the Epic Games Store, offering these bonuses:
- Pet Follower
- Armor Transmog Set
- Exclusive In-Game Quest
- Access to Game Preview 1
- Access to Game Preview 2 (early 2025)
Game Preview 1 is significantly larger than the demo. Game Preview 2's availability is pending.
Two editions are offered:
Standard Edition ($39.99):
- Base game
- All pre-order bonuses
Digital Deluxe Edition ($39.99):
- Base game
- All pre-order bonuses
- Deluxe Pet Follower
- Deluxe Armor Transmog Set
- Original Soundtrack
- Digital Artbook
Note: The Deluxe Edition doesn't appear to offer additional pre-order bonuses beyond those included in the Standard Edition. Preview access is available regardless of the edition purchased.
Console Pre-Orders and Physical Release:
Console pre-orders are not yet available, though this may change before the April 17th release. Any console pre-order bonuses likely won't include preview access.
A physical release exists, but it's currently limited to Kickstarter backers ($79). A wider physical release is uncertain.
