Even though Kingdom Come: Deliverance II launched in a much-improved state compared to its predecessor, it's not without its technical hiccups—a common challenge for expansive RPGs with ambitious scopes. Warhorse Studios is committed to enhancing the game post-launch, with their upcoming patch promising to be a significant undertaking.
In a recent interview with Tech4gamers, Tobias Stolz-Zwilling, the global PR manager, revealed that the next patch has been in development for over five months and will tackle over 1,000 bugs. He stated, "This patch has been in development for over five months and includes well over a thousand fixes."
Gamers are naturally curious about whether this patch will introduce more than just bug fixes, such as new gameplay mechanics or quality-of-life improvements. Given the extensive development time, there's optimism for substantial enhancements, though we'll have to wait for the full patch notes to know for sure.

Additionally, Warhorse Studios has confirmed that Kingdom Come: Deliverance II will receive official mod support within the next two weeks. However, the initial release of modding capabilities will be limited; for example, players won't be able to create custom missions right away. The studio plans to expand modding tools in the future. As of now, no specific release date for the patch has been announced.
