Activist groups have targeted Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 following the discovery of in-game subpoenas, sparking an attempt to cancel the project. The controversy gained traction after reports surfaced online about the game's ban in Saudi Arabia, fueling speculation about its content and alleged “progressive” themes. This led to online attacks against the developers, calls to boycott Kingdom Come Deliverance 2, and attempts to dissuade players from supporting the studio.
Warhorse Studios' PR manager, Tobias Stolz-Zwilling, responded to these claims, urging the public to rely on official information and avoid unverified online rumors. He confirmed that review codes would be distributed "in the coming days," following the game achieving gold status in early December. These codes are anticipated to be released four weeks prior to launch, allowing streamers and reviewers ample time to prepare their content. Interestingly, the first "final previews," based on review copies, are expected to be available just a week later.
