Infinity Nikki: A Guide to Obtaining Stellar Fruit
Infinity Nikki's vast array of stylish outfits requires a diverse range of crafting materials. One particularly elusive item is Stellar Fruit, found only in the Wishing Woods. This guide details how to acquire this sparkling ingredient.
Unlocking Access and Harvesting:
First, progress the main storyline to unlock the Wishing Woods (Chapter 6 onwards). After assisting Timis, you can begin your search. Crucially, Stellar Fruit only appears at night on Chronos Trees. During the day, these trees bear Sol Fruit.
To expedite the process, use your Pear-Pal's "Run, Pear-Pal" function to fast-forward to 22:00 (the start of nighttime). Locate a Chronos Tree (easily identifiable by its daytime Sol Fruit). After time-skipping, the fruit will transform into Stellar Fruit.
Harvest the fruit by jumping or pushing the tree to make the fruit fall. Each tree yields up to three Stellar Fruits. Quickly collect any fruit dropped on the ground, as Maskwing Bugs will attempt to carry them away. Use a bug-catching outfit to capture these bugs and retrieve the fruit.
Utilizing the Map:
Once you've found your first Stellar Fruit, use your in-game map to locate additional sources. Go to the 'Collections' tab (bottom left), find Stellar Fruit under the 'Plants' category, and select 'Track'. This will highlight nearby locations. With a sufficiently upgraded Collection Insight, you can also gather Stellar Fruit Essence.
The image above shows the known locations of Stellar Fruit nodes in the Wishing Woods, useful if you haven't unlocked Precise Tracking.
Alternative Acquisition:
You can purchase up to five Stellar Fruits per month from the in-game store's 'Resonance' tab. However, this requires Surging Ebb, obtained only from duplicate 5-Star clothing items, making this a less practical method.
Remember to collect other rare items, such as Pink Ribbon Eels (available only during the Shooting Star season, V.1.1), while exploring the Wishing Woods.
