Hearthstone Battlegrounds Season 9: Cosmic Overhaul Arrives December 3rd!
Get ready for a celestial shake-up! Hearthstone's Battlegrounds Season 9 launches December 3rd, bringing a universe of changes to Bob's Tavern. Prepare for a revamped minion lineup, flashy new tech, and a cosmic theme that'll leave you starstruck.
Key Changes:
- Farewell, Trinkets: Trinkets are being retired, making way for exciting new additions.
- Battlegrounds Tokens: Introducing a new way to strategize! Use tokens at the hero selection screen to reroll your hero options if you're unhappy with your choices.
- Hero Overhaul: Three brand-new heroes are joining the fray, with Farseer Nobundo already generating considerable buzz with his Galaxy's Lens ability.
- Minion Pool Refresh: Nearly 90 minions and Tavern spells are either entering or leaving the pool, drastically altering gameplay.
- Damage Cap Adjustment (Solo): Solo Battlegrounds games will see a modified damage cap: 5 damage early game, increasing to 10 on turn 4 and 15 on turn 8. The cap is removed once you reach the top 4.

- November 20th: Naga and Dragon reveals.
- November 21st: Quilboar and Beast reveals.
- November 22nd: Pirate and Duos-only reveals.
- November 25th: Murloc and Demon reveals.
- November 26th: Elemental and Undead reveals.
- December 2nd: Preview event streams and 31.2 patch notes release.
Minion Release Schedule:
- December 3rd: Beasts, Dragons, Quilboar, Pirates, Naga, and Mechs enter the pool.
- December 5th: Murlocs and Demons join the fray.
- December 9th: Undead and Elementals complete the lineup.
