HBO's critically acclaimed The Last of Us series is slated for a four-season run, according to an executive.
Francesca Orsi, an HBO executive, hinted at a four-season arc for the popular adaptation, clarifying that while there's no finalized plan, a four-season run is the current projection. Orsi stated to Deadline, "I wouldn't want to confirm that definitively, but it's looking like this season and then two more seasons after this, and we're done."
Regarding the anticipated Season 2 premiere in April 2025, Orsi teased, "Certain factions vying for survival will be revealed, showcasing a captivating survivalist group with a unique and distinct presentation, notably in their wardrobe and makeup."
