Rome boasts Italy's largest video game museum! GAMM, the Game Museum, has officially opened its doors to the public in Piazza della Repubblica. The museum is the creation of Marco Accordi Rickards, a writer, journalist, professor, and CEO of Vigamus.
Rickards, a passionate advocate for preserving video game history, describes GAMM as a journey blending historical context, technological innovation, and interactive gameplay. GAMM's origins lie in Vigamus, another Roman gaming museum that has welcomed over two million visitors since 2012.
This expansive new museum, covering 700 square meters across two floors, is divided into three captivating thematic sections. Before delving into the specifics, take a quick peek at the museum!
