Freedom Wars Remastered offers numerous ways to customize your loadout. While weapons and Thrones are less frequently swapped, Combat Items—consumable resources with diverse uses—require careful management. You'll occasionally receive Combat Items as operation rewards, but this isn't always sufficient. Initially, you're limited to equipping only one Combat Item at a time. Let's address both these issues.
How To Equip More Combat Items In Freedom Wars Remastered
To equip multiple Combat Items, you need the correct Entitlements. In your cell, interact with the Window On Liberty and select "Claim Entitlements." Navigate to the Equipment section, then switch to the right tab to find the One-Item Permit. Subsequent permits allow equipping up to four Combat Items.
These permits become available quickly; you'll likely acquire all four by CODE level 3. Note that later permits unlock only after purchasing the preceding one. Equipping a Combat Item automatically equips your entire stack; for example, equipping a Frag Grenade uses all currently held grenades at the start of the operation.
Your Accessory can also equip a single Combat Item, used at its discretion.
Where To Get More Combat Items In Freedom Wars Remastered
After progressing beyond the initial missions, you'll access The Warren HUB area. Here, Zakka's store (located on the upper level, right side) sells weapons and supplies. Select "Buy Items" to access Munitions (items that directly damage enemies) and Medical Supplies (healing, ailment cures, and ammo refills).
Combat Items are purchased individually, and bulk buying can be expensive in Entitlement Points. Donating excess resources is primarily justifiable for acquiring large quantities of Medkits. While Operations occasionally reward Combat Items, this isn't a reliable farming method due to the time investment and potential consumption exceeding rewards.
