The Flare Knife is an accessible combat item attainable early in the game. Upon reaching Level 003 Code Clearance, visit Zakka in The Warren. Zakka's inventory includes the Flare Knife, purchasable for 3,000 Entitlement Points.
Equipping the Flare Knife is straightforward. Access the Loadout menu within the Personal Responsibility Portal and select an available Combat Item slot. The Flare Knife will be listed if acquired, ready for deployment.
Utilizing the Flare Knife in Freedom Wars Remastered
The Flare Knife's function is to sever Abductor body parts. This offers an alternative for players favoring Polearms or Heavy Melee weapons, bypassing the need for Light Melee weapons to achieve limb severing. However, remember that the Flare Knife is a single-use item; repurchase is necessary for subsequent Operations.
To utilize the Flare Knife, target the severable Abductor part and use your Thorn to grapple onto it. With the Flare Knife equipped, a severing option will appear.
