Nearly a year after its release, Forspoken continues to stir up debate among gamers, even as it becomes available for free through PS Plus. The discussions around its value are just as heated among those who experienced it for free as those who paid full price.
When PlayStation LifeStyle announced the PS Plus Extra and Premium lineup for December 2024, there was a surprisingly positive reaction from the gaming community. Many players expressed excitement about trying Forspoken and Sonic Frontiers. However, the reception to Forspoken has been mixed. Some players who tried it for free quickly abandoned the game after a few hours, criticizing its 'ridiculous dialogue' and weak storyline.
