Final Fantasy XIV's Free Login Campaign Returns!
Square Enix has re-launched its popular Free Login Campaign for Final Fantasy XIV, giving players with inactive accounts a chance to return to Eorzea for a limited time. This campaign runs until February 6th, 2025, and is available across PC, PlayStation, and Xbox platforms.
Eligible players can enjoy four consecutive days of free gameplay, with the timer starting upon login through the game launcher. Eligibility is determined by account inactivity (at least 30 days prior to the campaign start) and adherence to the game's terms of service. Players can verify their eligibility via the Mog Station.
This generous offer coincides with the recent release of Patch 7.15, featuring new side quests within the Dawntrail expansion, including the return of the Hildibrand storyline and a new Custom Delivery client. Furthermore, Producer and Director Naoki Yoshida's New Year's message confirmed upcoming Patches 7.2 and 7.3 for 2025, alongside smaller content updates, and hinted at future developments in the Dawntrail main storyline.
The campaign, which began January 9th, 2025, provides a perfect opportunity for lapsed players to catch up on the Dawntrail storyline before the release of Patch 7.2. While waiting, players can also participate in the Heavensturn event (until January 16th) and anticipate the release of Patch 7.16 on January 21st, concluding the Dawntrail Role Quest series.
