Epic Games has recently unveiled its store on mobile platforms, bringing the Epic Games Store to Android devices around the globe. To celebrate this significant launch, Epic is offering a range of exciting rewards, free games, and exclusive content to its mobile users.
Which Games Are Available on the Mobile Epic Games Store?
The spotlight is on three major titles: Fortnite, Fall Guys, and Rocket League Sideswipe. Notably, Fall Guys has made its mobile debut and is available for free download directly from the Epic Games Store. When you download the Epic Games Store app and any of these games on your mobile device, you unlock the opportunity to complete in-game challenges, earning you exclusive cosmetics. These include a new Fortnite outfit with matching back bling, pickaxe, and wrap, as well as a unique Fall Guys bean costume. Additionally, there are more rewards to claim, such as a Fall Guys-themed pickaxe for Fortnite and a gold vehicle trim for use in both Fortnite and Rocket League Sideswipe. Keep in mind, these quests are exclusive to mobile players.
It’s Not Just About Their Big Three Games
Beyond the marquee titles, the Epic Games Store on mobile is home to nearly 20 third-party games from various developers. Epic has also initiated a Free Games program for mobile, starting with Dungeon of the Endless: Apogee, which is available for free on Android and iOS via the Epic Games Store app until February 20th. Playdigious, a notable developer, has made two more of their games, Shapez and Evoland 2, available on the Epic Store. They plan to add Cultist Simulator in the coming weeks. Additionally, Bloons TD 6 is set to join the store soon, and while free games are currently offered monthly, Epic aims to transition to a weekly schedule later this year.
Despite the challenges posed by Apple and Google regarding third-party app stores, Epic Games is making strides to enhance gaming accessibility for everyone. What are your thoughts on this development? Share your opinions in the comments section below.
