A Decade-Long Development
It wasn’t until 2017 that The Veilguard was revived under the codename "Morrison." After years of development, the game was formally announced as Dragon Age: Dreadwolf in 2020 before adopting its current title.
Despite these setbacks, the wait is nearly over. Dragon Age: The Veilguard is set to launch for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S this fall. However, mark your calendars for later, because the wait for Thedas is about to get a whole lot shorter.
