Kai
Encountered early, Kai is your first true companion, joining your party upon reaching Dawnshore's port near Paradis. This fierce ex-mercenary, a formidable tank in combat, excels at both damage and defense. His fire abilities prove invaluable for removing obstacles and uncovering hidden treasures.
Kai's Upgradeable Abilities:
- Fire and Ire (Active): A powerful blunderbuss shot, stunning and taunting a single enemy.
- Unbending Defense (Active): Regenerates health and boosts damage reduction.
- Leap of Daring (Active): A powerful leap, stunning and taunting nearby enemies.
- Second Win (Passive): Revives with 50% health upon reaching zero.
Marius
Marius, found in Dawnshore, shares history with Kai. An expert hunter and tracker, his skills enhance both exploration and combat. His "Hunter Sense" helps locate loot and crafting materials, while his bow, daggers, and nature-bending abilities make him a versatile fighter.
Marius' Upgradeable Abilities:
- Binding Roots (Active): Roots an enemy in place.
- Heart Seeker (Active): A piercing shot that ignores obstacles.
