The hit indie game Balatro is now available on Android! Published by Playstack and developed by LocalThunk, Balatro quickly became a 2024 sensation after its February console and PC release.
This unique roguelike deck-builder puts a fresh twist on classic card games like Poker and Solitaire. At its heart, Balatro challenges you to build the best poker hands while battling challenging bosses and navigating a constantly evolving deck.
How to Play Balatro:
You'll face bosses known as "Blinds," each imposing unique restrictions on gameplay. By collecting chips and forming powerful poker hands, your goal is to outsmart these bosses and survive until the final showdown against Ante 8's special Boss Blind.
With each hand, new Jokers enter the game—and these aren't ordinary Jokers. Each possesses unique abilities that can disrupt opponents or provide crucial advantages. Some Jokers might multiply your score or give you extra funds to spend in the shop.
You'll customize your deck with various special cards. Planet cards, for example, modify specific poker hands and offer opportunities to level up certain hand types. Tarot cards can alter card rank or suit, sometimes adding extra chips to your total.
Balatro offers Campaign and Challenge modes. With over 150 Jokers, each playthrough is a unique experience. Check out the trailer below!
