The timing of this leak, just hours before Sony's 40-minute State of Play presentation, strongly hints at an official announcement. While Sony hasn't revealed the State of Play's contents, the Digimon Story: Time Stranger leak increases the likelihood of a Digimon reveal.
The Digimon Story series boasts a long history, beginning with the original Nintendo DS title in the mid-2000s.
