Another character, Dollman, played by Fatih Akin, is depicted as a living doll and former medium who has lost his human form. Additionally, Léa Seydoux reprises her role as Fragile, adding continuity to the narrative.
A new character, Tomorrow, played by Elle Fanning, was introduced in a setting that resembles the realm of the dead, echoing the original game's theme, "Tomorrow is in your hands." In one of the showcased cutscenes, characters are seen singing the iconic song "Raindrops Keep Fallin' on My Head" by Burt Bacharach and Hal David, while engaging in conversation with a pregnant woman named Rainy, portrayed by Shiori Kutsuna.
