We Reviewed Both AMD Graphics Cards
We gave the AMD Radeon RX 9070 a solid 8/10 rating. Priced the same as the Nvidia GeForce RTX 5070, it outperforms in most games we tested and comes with more VRAM (16GB vs 12GB), which should make it more future-proof. Our tests showed it consumes about the same power as the RTX 5070.

It delivers outstanding performance at 1440p, often reaching high refresh rates even without frame generation, and includes an AI upscaler for enhanced image quality. The only drawback is its proximity in performance to the Radeon RX 9070 XT."
We rated the AMD Radeon RX 9070 XT a perfect 10/10. Although it's $150 cheaper than the Nvidia GeForce RTX 5070 Ti, the 9070 XT surpasses it in several games we tested, with some benchmarks showing a significant lead. Both cards have 16GB of VRAM. However, the 9070 XT does consume more power and runs hotter on average than the RTX 5070 Ti.
