Disney has unveiled exciting new details about Destination D23: A Journey Around the Worlds of Disney, with tickets going on sale on April 14, 2025. This highly anticipated event is set to take place at Walt Disney World's Coronado Springs Resort from August 29 - 31, promising an immersive experience filled with "exclusive presentations from the Walt Disney Archives and Walt Disney Studios, as well as spectacular entertainment and peeks into all the worlds of Disney." Attendees can also look forward to engaging in a variety of unique interactive activations and shopping experiences.
To secure your spot at this event, you must be a D23 Gold Member by the time tickets go on sale at 10am PT/1pm ET on April 14. Membership starts at the Gold tier, which costs $49.99/year and offers numerous perks including access to other exclusive events and items. Higher membership tiers provide even more benefits, which you can explore here.
Ticket prices for general admission are set at $299, with a limited number of Preferred ($549) and Premiere ($799) tickets available on a first-come, first-served basis. These tickets include "dedicated queues for reserved seating areas," and D23 Gold Members can reserve tickets for themselves and one guest.
The event will feature over 25 "specially curated presentations from across The Walt Disney Company," alongside an exclusive D23 Shopping Spree. Though specific details on the presentations are yet to be revealed, shopping enthusiasts will be thrilled to visit The Walt Disney Company Store, Mickey's of Glendale, Disney Studio Store Hollywood, and Ink & Paint Marketplace for the most coveted merchandise.
On August 30, attendees can celebrate 25 years of The Emperor's New Groove at the D23 Kuzcotopia Night at Typhoon Lagoon. The following day, August 31, will feature the Disney '80s-'90s Celebration in Concert, with Broadway and Disney Animation stars delivering an unforgettable performance.
The event will also showcase The Walt Disney Archives: Charting the Course, Disney Global Stories & Inspirations, highlighting the diverse cultures that have influenced Disney's creations. This includes exhibits such as Dwayne Johnson's Jungle Cruise costume, animation maquettes from The Lion King and Mulan, and original puppets from EPCOT's Tapestry of Nations.
For those arriving early in Orlando, additional pre-event activities include D23 Nights at Disney Springs and a special A Goofy Movie Throwback Premiere on August 28.
