Cyberpunk 2077 receives a significant update (2.21) from CD Projekt RED, incorporating cutting-edge NVIDIA technology and numerous bug fixes. A key addition is DLSS 4 support, boosting frame rates, particularly for GeForce RTX 50 series card owners. This enhancement will be available from January 30th. DLSS 4 also improves frame generation speed on RTX 40 and 50 series cards while optimizing memory usage.
Furthermore, all GeForce RTX users can now choose between the convolutional neural network and the new transform model for DLSS Ray Reconstruction, Super Resolution, and DLAA. The transform model delivers superior lighting, detail preservation, and image stability.
This update also addresses several glitches:
- Resolved issues causing communication failures with certain vendors.
- Fixed missing or low-volume audio in TV news broadcasts.
- Increased the frequency of Johnny's appearance in the passenger seat.
- Corrected a bug leading to item disappearance when hiding nearby characters.
- Eliminated game freezes occurring when simultaneously entering photo mode and accessing closets or stashes.
- Enabled the inclusion of Nibbles and Adam Smasher in Photo Mode shots, even when V is in water or mid-air.
- Enhanced the functionality of Adam Smasher's facial expression changes.
