If you're delving into *Arise Crossover* and feeling a bit lost amidst the Shadows, dungeons, and mounts, fear not! This guide will illuminate the path to mastering the game, from understanding your Shadow units to conquering dungeons and claiming mounts.
How Shadows Work in Arise Crossover
In *Arise Crossover*, each of the three islands offers various Shadows to recruit, along with one formidable dungeon Shadow. The weakest Shadow in the game is Soondoo, available right from the start, while the strongest is Mifalcon, found on the final Brum Island. However, it's not just about the type of Shadow; their rank is crucial. A Rank A Soondoo outshines a Rank D Mifalcon due to higher ranks allowing for greater level progression. For instance, a Rank D unit tops out at Level 75, whereas an SS unit can reach Level 200. The ultimate goal? Assembling a team of four SS-ranked Mifalcons, but getting there is part of the adventure.
Arise Crossover Dungeon Guide
Dungeon Portals in *Arise Crossover* appear every 30 minutes and remain open for 15 minutes. Even if you enter just before a portal closes, you're in for the entire dungeon. These portals can spawn in various locations across the islands, with their difficulty randomly assigned.
Start by forming a team of Rank D units and tackling a Rank D or C dungeon on Leveling Island. This approach will help you build a solid unit base and possibly snag a rare boss Shadow. Remember, dungeons are your exclusive route to recruiting Rare and higher-than-Rank C common units.
When a portal notification pops up, don't hesitate—head to it! If your team isn't up to par, just stand by the portal. Often, a higher-level player will join and help you through, allowing you to recruit better Shadows. This community spirit is vital for progressing in *Arise Crossover*. We've benefited from this kindness, progressing from Rank C units through a Rank A dungeon to recruit Rank A units, which eventually helped us reach the end game. Pay it forward by helping others when you can.
Arise Crossover Weapons
During this Beta phase, weapons in *Arise Crossover* have minimal impact. While they might contribute a bit of damage early on, by the second island, their utility wanes significantly. The Iron Kando Blade, the most powerful common weapon available, costs 60 million and deals 516,1K damage, which pales in comparison to the millions your Shadows can unleash. So, unless you're flush with cash, hold onto it until weapon updates enhance their relevance.
How to Get a Mount in Arise Crossover
Mounts, like dungeons, spawn every 15 minutes, but only one player per server can attempt to claim each spawn. A server-wide message alerts players to a new mount, but you won't always be notified if someone else claims it or if it disappears.
Mounts can appear in six different locations: on the main islands' back or on smaller side islands. Check the developer's map for specific spawn spots. Remember, you can't claim the same mount twice, and attempts can fail. Flying mounts are the rarest with a 10% spawn rate, ground mounts are more common, and water mounts are available at the Boat Shop NPC.
To secure a mount, keep an eye on the server messages and swiftly navigate to all six potential spawn points. While mounts aren't essential for progression, a flying mount certainly simplifies travel. We're still on the hunt for our own flying mount!
