Get ready, Clash of Clans fans! A massive update is on the horizon for March 2025, and it's bringing changes players have been clamoring for over the years. This update marks one of the most significant shifts in the game's history, with several features set to disappear soon.
No Troop, Spell, or Siege Machine Training Time!
Imagine being able to launch attack after attack without any downtime. That's exactly what the new update offers by eliminating training times for troops, spells, and siege machines. Battles will feel more fast-paced and seamless than ever before. Additionally, hero recovery times are a thing of the past, so your heroes can stay in the fight without needing a break. This change will apply to players in the Titan League and below, while the Legend League retains its eight-battle limit per day for now.
This major update continues Clash of Clans' trend of removing outdated mechanics. After eliminating training costs in 2022, Supercell is now taking the next step by completely removing training times, allowing players to enjoy the game without artificial barriers.
With these changes, certain items will become obsolete. Training Potions and Training Treats will be phased out, removed from in-app purchase bundles. Any remaining in player inventories will be converted into Gems.
There's a New Match Anytime System!
When real bases are in short supply, the new Match Anytime system steps in, enabling you to attack snapshot bases. These are saved versions of real player bases that are currently under Shield. These battles function just like normal ones, allowing you to gain loot and trophies, but the defender won’t lose anything. This system, already used for Clan Wars and Legend League attacks, is now expanding to multiplayer battles.
With more battles per session, adjustments to Trophy Curves are necessary. The number of trophies earned from victories will be reduced. Additionally, Clan Castle request timers are being standardized at a quick 10 minutes for everyone.
